Pioneer Energy is a grassroots, youth-led organization that combines education and action to drive common sense clean energy legislation in states across the country. We train student and grassroots groups in the fundamentals of policy design and legislative advocacy, and then mobilize those same groups to take on clean energy policy campaigns in their native states.

Our Mission
Our mission is twofold: to pass our keystone zero-carbon energy policy in the states where it will have the greatest impact, and to equip everyday people with the skills and confidence to lead that change themselves.
The Issue
We envision an America powered by clean, cheap, domestic energy. Our current reliance on fossil fuels leads to high and volatile energy prices, pollution of our communities, and changes in climate that result in increasingly expensive and disastrous weather events. Instead of waiting on a massive top-down change, we can grow a clean energy transition from the bottom-up, state by state.
